Muscle Car Enthusiasts from across the Northeast gathered in Orleans on Wednesday, as part of a charity-driven event.
The annual event, known as the "Rally for Paws: True North Tour" brings together automobile enthusiasts to raise money. The proceeds go toward providing service dogs to military veterans and first responders. The tour takes place from May 25th through May 30th, and the drivers travel through multiple states along the East Coast, before crossing into Canada.
The tour took a brief stop in Orleans on Wednesday. Lamborghinis, Maseratis, Bugattis, and various other sports cars were seen lined along the parking lots of "Maplefields" and "Ethan Allen Manufacturing." License plates from all along the East Coast, and even Montana, were spotted in the mix.
One participant in the tour told us that 30 cars were involved in the event. Orleans residents enjoyed the scene, some noting that it's not a regular occurence for dozens of muscle cars to make a stop in town.
Registration to participate in the event is $3,900. For more information about the event & the impact it makes, visit their website at rallyforpaws.org.
